The teen likes it when I read her English reading aloud to her, and I like the time with her so I do it when she asks. We’re currently reading “In Cold Blood,” which is not big on laughs but boy did I get one last night.

Whirlwind weekend with the teen's school play on Thursday, a school dance on Friday, Girl Scout camp out Saturday and Sunday. So of course I came home and stitched kitchen implements on a piece of muslin. Look how cute! #craftsky

Just cut enough hair out of my vacuum roller to make a wig for a small human. Kind of gross, but most of it used to be mine. Also, super satisfying. And it doesn't smell like it's trying to catch fire now. Bonus.
