Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones.

Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

Bondi needs to go!! Most corrupt head of DOJ in the most corrupt administration ever. Just monstrous.
Congressional leaders have to redact her from the DOJ.

If there's one benefit from all the Republican criminality and corruption it's that you never have to treat them like good faith interlocutors again. Every currently living Trump accomplice should be treated at most to a reflexive "Eat Shit" for life, and that's better than they deserve

Impossible to respect people that allow themselves to be openly robbed on this level. From Congress to the courts to ordinary voters, Americans have become slow, stupid and pathetic -- a citizenry incapable of operating our once-promising experiment with self-governance.

We are, all of us, marks.

Tonight I was making whistle packets again at Pilsen Arts & Community House. Been talking to Teresa Magaña, the co-founder of PACH & the supreme BADASS who created the Form a Crowd zine, about cool stuff we might be able to do in future. Connecting people, creating, community. What Bree said ⬇️ 💚🔥👍
The whistles are the entry point. But the long game is the community that is being formed every time someone who has never really been engaged before decides to do This One Thing that gives them a reason to talk to their neighbors.

Community is what saves us in the end. That is my belief.

Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

I think Democrats should start using focused ad hoc bicameral working groups to attack and undermine Trump’s illiberalism - the tariffs, his unprecedented corruption, is selling out of Ukraine and Europe to Putin, his undermining of our elections, etc.
Democrats in Congress need to immediately appoint an adhoc bicameral working group to organize civil society and the legal community to stop Trump's ongoing desecration of our national monuments and the Capital. This has gone too far. Congress must step up and fight.

Under any other president, this would be treated as the biggest corruption scandal in American history.

A foreign government giving hundreds of millions of dollars directly to the Trumps.

That's about it, yes.
I think it is OUTRAGEOUS that people are LEAPING to the conclusion that some our post prominent Americans are child rapists when it is EQUALLY PLAUSIBLE that they are simply indifferent to whether other people are child rapists so long as those other people can offer them access to power.

Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down
