At the end of the day in my enthusiasm for transit I may have inadvertently strayed into a conversation about what is the REM and what is LRT. I appreciate there are differences with both. My more simplistic point was that Ottawa’s system is not ‘World Class’ as we were told (lied to) it would be.

I have a few times now (both directions). It’s definitely hit and miss. Level boarding at all platforms should have been the standard from the get go!

Distinction noted. The overall design and aesthetic of the stations, etc is to a much higher standard.

Just rode the REM and Ottawa, WE DO NOT HAVE A WORLD CLASS LRT.
