Apparently Cara Spencer's plan to deal with our poor people "problem" is to wait till they get run over by speeding cars. Much like LBJ's plan to deal with the poor was to send them to die in Vietnam.

The way we've designed our cities and suburbs means 88 year olds have no choice but to drive. It's not like they can stroll down to the grocery store. Our car-dependent cities force 88-years to drive. And they are slaughtered. @nextstl.com tinyurl.com/y6dz635s

Did you hear about a crash yesterday that killed a 73-year-old man in North County? Maybe you saw a reprinted press release. Maybe you saw a quick blurb describing the driver as "inattentive" a straight reprint from the MSHP. And I'm mad about it. I'm sick of local news coverage of traffic violence.
