Lumines Arise by @enhance-experience.com is incredibly good. Cannot wait for the full release. The music is also an absolute bop, just like Tetris Effect, so I am having a hard time focusing on the game instead of just vibing to the beat

Neat. I think in similar cases I generally go for vertex colors, here's an example. So then I can have a fully adjustable thickness + falloff by simply smoothstepping the vertex color. I do not know how the underlying geo looks like tho, so maybe its prohibitively expensive to have enough vertices

Been playing with some wetness effects for a #VRChat world recently. Took the math of @mochie.bsky.social 's water gerstner waves, rendered it to a texture, and then did some simple decay on it via Graphics.Blit. Its a little jank but I've stared at it long enough that I think its working #unity3d

I ended up migrating to using @machin3.io Tools' radial menus bound to my mouse back button, so i can press and fling the mouse in one of the cardinal directions to align myself. Used to recommend it to every blender newcomer before it became paid. Still an incredible addon, though
