I was doing some research and noticed a man named Jonathan, born in 1593, had four siblings: Patience, Fear (poor girl,) Wrestling (what?) and Love (poor boy.) So how did Jonathan luck out and get a normal name?

I knew we grew a lot of pears here in the PNW, but I did not know Oregon and Washington produce 88% of all pears in the country. Comice pears are my favorite.

Beavers were here. They used to relocate the beavers in the park but gave up on that and just accept flooded paths.

This was our very first Christmas tree, 44 years ago. We were poor, so we waited until Christmas Eve when we could get it for almost nothing.
