Next Irish president is a likely to preside over preparations for Irish Unity.

As potentially the most important constitutional issue of their term, would like to hear candidates discuss Unity and media raise questions and issues during their campaign.

British still flying reconnaissance flights over Gaza to assist Israeli genocide but deflect spotlight by going after Kneecap, who’s crime was to draw attention to Gaza.

By the way Belfast is full of UVF flags but you don’t bother about that.

Irish Unity would upset stranglehold Fianna Fáil & Fine Gael have had on Politics for past 100 years.
Their unwillingness to face issue is based purely on self interest and preservation of their gripe on power.
It’s why Micheal Martin and vested interests like Irish Times oppose it so vigorously.

Weir is former RUC officer, who cooperated with producers of documentary “Unquiet Graves” covering RUC & UVF murderous campaign.

He also accused British Military Intelligence of attempting to get Glenanne Gang to attack Beleeks Primary School, to massacre children.

But no rush to investigate that.

As someone who lived through the “Troubles”, nothing that the British state got up to surprises.

They controlled the narrative and acted with impunity.

When is a Group, not a Group?

When it’s a Dáil Regional Group.

These guys are looking for the trappings and benefits of Government without risks of being wiped out at next election as Greens, Progressive Democrats and Labour previously, for keeping FFG in Power.

Gerry Adams is just one of 400 ex internees, Northern Nationalists imprisoned without trial, who plan to sue British.

This is little more than a pathetic front to retain the worst elements of Legacy Act, framed to be viewed by a British audience ignorant of history.

Lots of free publicity.
Enhances product image with impressions of being rare and special.

Loyalist Paramilitaries have thousands of members, significant armoury, operate large drugs operation, engage in money lending & protection money.
Yet UK government chose to use new legislation against an insignificant, unpopular, tiny Republican group.
