many of our srrx veterans are there (liao laoshi and wu bixia are judges, zhou shen, cai chengyu, wang kai and idk who else are "sector experts") so it really is nostalgic 🥹

the ticket isn't actually very expensive but our company is the sponsor of the event, as well as the sponsor of many other cultural events, which is definitely something i wish all companies would do! a win-win for the underfunded arts and for us employees!!

orchestra rehearsals also give you the opportunity to break down a piece instrument by instrument, kinda like a layer cake. that bassoon you never noticed? suddenly it has a melody of its own, and a soul, because it represents a character or a feeling. oh how i love music
