and it's rather insane how the panel of judges is mostly composed by deans and rectors from the most prestigious music conservatories around the country. a show that finally invited people with solid evaluation skills in the field and not some random celebrity!

one thing i absolutely love about rehearsals is how you see the dedication and effort behind every performance. it's not easy, it's not effortless as it may sound, it's sweat and pain and repeating the same melodies again and again. art is sheer strength of will.
what an honour to witness the great maestro muti teaching a group of young musicians! talent, passion, strictness tempered with a good dose of humour and charisma.

going to the riccardo muti italian opera academy orchestra rehearsals today!! managed to snatch a free ticket because it was a firm-promoted event and my manager quietly sent me the registration link before it was officially sent to lower level employees 🥰✨
