i technically do have a laptop, but its 10 years old and the only thing i can confidently use it for is scanning documents or occasionally running a jackbox game from it while hooked up to our living room tv. everything else it struggles with significantly.

we've been living in this house for almost 4 years now and every winter is miserable for me because my room in particular has insulation issues that makes it at least 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house. the chronic pain sufferer has to live in the meat locker.

i always get like this ever winter when i close my commissions, trying to work on game projects that have plagued my imagination for the past year that i didn't have time to work on. oft it doesn't produce stuff i end up showing off, but i do have fun working on and making games, even for myself

while i love comics, i dont think i can actually ever return to them as a medium for my storytelling. im good at writing dialogue and storybeats, im not that good at creating framings and compositions over and over.
