this isnt anything new. hasbro doesnt fucking care about this game besides it being an endless cash flow and with the success of the ff set theyre going to be chasing that high for the rest of time until this game falls into obscurity as the lame "anything" game rather than a good, fun card game.

the prospect of bringing new people into the game is on paper far more lucrative than making product that appeals to the audience that continued to buy in up until this point. it also discredits the appeal of the existing game content, which is what the audience that stays ends up wanting.

i got the flu/covid vac combo yesterday and i was fine for the majority of the day but at midnight the side effects hit me like a fucking truck and i was stuck on the couch the majority of the night because i simply could not move.
