Every time I travel to the UK I feel so much better without a car, just using all the public transit. California is a transit no mans land where the car is king and also a highway coffin. Spending 4 hours a day commuting broke me O_O
But also, I 100% understand why a 20 min delay can F' things up.

It's a horrible sign that I WISH our trains were only 20 mins delayed regularly. Most of the time here in Orange County the trains we can get are delayed by 45 mins or more every day. Maybe that's also why we don't use them often....
