AGREE. Do NOT send any info about a disability, please. I wasn’t with the VA, but I couldn’t go back to my federal agency after having surgery for a work-related injury. The agency under RFK JR (insane) shut down 5 (FIVE) out of 10 regional offices with the US Dept. of Health & Human Services!!🤬

About a month ago, I responded to a right-wing, evangelical who ridiculed unions. (I’m from the East Coast and my dad was a proud union member.) I told her that unions were like religion - they both saved lives! (It’s not an original, but I’m not sure who to credit.)

Wow! Yes, it’s sad. So much hatred and bigotry.
My dad passed, but he was ahead of his times. My mom taught ASL at SFSU (she’s Deaf) and was always open to learning from her students. She was welcoming and had a 2 year waiting list for her classes because she was open minded. Grateful!
