Just tried out the gptoss-20B model and gotta say, pretty impressed. Its only open-weight but that's one step closer to these AI models becoming fully opensource where everything from the training data to the code used to make it are available to the public. One can only dream of such a utopia.

This is what finally pushed me over the edge and into the Linux world. Started off with Ubuntu before going to Debian 12, then CachyOS, to now Vanilla OS. Not a single time have I had the thought "Man I missed windows".

Open-source games oh how I wish you were more prevalent. It seems that no game developers see the true extent of viability of having games open source. Better community support for modding, bug fixes from community members, games continue to evolve long after development stops, and a better future.
