Anyway. Getting up, and driving back to Solihull. I can't face the half inch of tepid water bath, I'll wait and get a hot shower when I get home. Been good having Dad, he'll be down to stay again in February for his 85th birthday.

Photo is looking back to S Sheila's with Tynemouth on the horizon. It had been such a dank foggy day, yet when we arrived back in the North East, everywhere was bathed in beautiful golden light, and you could see for miles.

Got my dad staying with us over Christmas. So far, so normal, however he has been known to eat porridge with Wotsits for breakfast, as the porridge 'lacked flavour'.
