Was saying to herself: Remember years ago at this time of year not having enough plugs or sockets for all the lights so taking a cord with 2 exposed wires at the end and shoving it into a socket with another plug to power 2 things?

THE RUNNING MAN is actual rubbish. Any sense of contemporary satire is bouldered aside by reminders of DEATH RACE 2000, ROLLERBALL, HUNGER GAMES, BATTLE ROYALE and on and on. Sense of Wright holding himself back from characteristic whimsy. Appallingly incoherent ending. Baaaaad.
