There was, apparently, some silly online “controversy” about Busta lip synching his performance, and I hate to break it to you, but every single one of the performers singing on the floats are lip synching. Like… every single one.

…just that.The entire project seems held together by a punky DIY ethos & most of the lyrics are delivered w/ the cool detachment of the arthouse. Overall, a very cool album full of surprises & reminds me quite a bit of Velvet Underground if they had more of a bent towards electronica. I dig it.(2/2)

Minny Pops: Drastic Measures, Drastic Movement

New to me. Significantly weird pop music interspersed w/ significantly weirder droning noise experiments from Amsterdam. Some of the noise tracks grate on the nerves, but to be fair, I can’t imagine a scenario in which they weren’t crafted to do…(1/2)
