I Can't Believe It Finally Happened: A Story in Two Parts

It's fun to show off the cool old coin designs, but there are also regular looking coins like the Washington quarter and Roosevelt dime. The top two are about $13.50 worth of silver that someone could easily spend as $0.35 if they don't know to look out for coins dated 1964 and earlier
On the left are two US quarters and on the right are two US dimes. The quarters say Liberty across the top with a profile portrait of George Washington in the center, in god we trust at the lower center left. The top quarter says 1963 across the bottom, the bottom coin says 1996. The dimes say Liberty from the center left to the top, have a profile portrait of Franklin Roosevelt in the center, and say in god we trust at the bottom left. Bottom right of the top coin says 1961 and the top coin says 1991

I probably over paid for this but I've never seen a half dime in person before and I'm on vacation so decided to go for it. Not that it was absurdly expensive, just a whole lot more than the actual silver value in the coin

Trying some new 'dines

First time beating Sanctuary on CHIMPS mode in BTD6 and ended up with over $50,000 left over. The Bomb Blitz tower is absurdly strong after this past update. I saved up over $70,000 before I needed to buy another strong tower in the early 90s which is bonkers on this kind of map
A screenshot of the Bloons TD6 map "Sanctuary" which has 6 brownish green platforms that towers can be placed on and green vines (the bloon path) that start at 2 vines coming from opposite sides of the top, meet in the middle and intertwine and break into four vines that exit separately at the bottom of the screen. The gimmick of this map is that the platforms for towers rotate and move into different positions each round on a cycle. The majority of the towers at on the top center platform and are a Bomb Blitz (recursive explosions), Moab Assasin (single target high damage for blimps), Striker Jones (Explosive based hero that buffs explosive towers and has an explosive attack), Relentless Glue (slows bloons), Carpet of Spikes (covers the entire track with spikes every 7 seconds), and a monkey village upgraded to let the towers see camo, attack faster, and give various range and attack speed buffs to Primary towers like bomb and glue. There are Desparados on the top left and right platforms and 2 sniper monkeys on the bottom right platform, which were used for the early game. There is a Moab Shove helicopter platform on the bottom left platform and the helicopter is at the top where the 2 original vines meet, this tower slows and attacks blimps.

Looking through old photos I found documentation of my first ever smw kaizo level clear back in February 2020. Probably took this picture to post in @glitchcat7.bsky.social's discord. I was playing on a hacked SNES mini on a widescreen monitor. That one clear snowballed into quite the hobby.

Too late to stream but here's the new custom controller: a PS4 controller with separated D-buttons and a grippy back. I also had them remove the rumble paks so it's lighter and all of the buttons are straight black because my inner high school goth still has control over my taste in aesthetics
