My phone is aggressively trying to push new updates, not just for AI features I didn't want or ask for (summarizing messages for me), but emergency alert setups with my contacts I don't need and "Wicked" promo art. This is gross.

The most annoying part of this round is some ding-dong decided his posturing about the ratio was an excellent excuse to message him, try to start a dynamic (paid) and then has so little self awareness they posted about it to complain the person deleted their account.
The subreddit I moderate gets a reoccurring visitor. He is struggling with some sort of mental illness and has a pattern of dropping a pile of incel puke with social justice language stapled on, freaking out a bunch and then being banned or if not caught, deleting his account.

It's a nuisance to be one of those people who really likes the aesthetics of old systems and nice old things, but knowing that age tends to make things full of rot or gatekept all to heck in the worst ways.

In reality it tends to make you less invested in your job and more likely to notice systemic causes.

I think if I have to be judgemental about the subject of motivation, internalized scolding is the actual "brain being lazy". Positive self talk and patience with yourself are much harder.

I think the first and foremost trouble the majority of neurodivergent people have is probably the sense of general shame. Your childhood was one of more corrections than a neurotypical child, and a sense you just weren't trying hard enough to keep in step.

It's going to be interesting to see the mainstreaming of "villains are hotter" to "the heroes are bad guys actually" to see if there's eventually a pendulum swing based on a glut of retellings. Don't get me wrong, I love a villain and am not tired of it...
