My first bullion spiral. A really hard freeform #crochet stitch to learn but I will persevere. Need longer needles - the max I could comfortably stitch was a 12 wrap bullion. They're a little tornado-y looking - need to work on the shape, but they got better near the end. But fun! 🧶

We watched this documentary that just dropped from TVO about #CFNY radio and it brought back so many memories. That radio station, its DJs and their exploration of #punk and #NewWave in the #80s, before anyone else in Toronto, influenced so much in my life. #TheSpiritOfRadio
My #crochet bag is blocked and I have all the pieces I need: lovely embroidered shoulder strap, d-rings, magnetic clasp, matching red zipper and my "Hand Made" label. My cable stitch game is fire. Now to convince my purple beardo to sew me a lining. 😁 🧶

I always had an issue with Mary's non-George life. Why would life without him mean her eyesight deteriorated? One point about the article - that school's gym actually did have a pool and sliding floor. It was a big innovation. Watching this tonight - it's our traditional Eve movir, warts and all.

Finished the most complicated #crochet project I've tried so far - a cable design bag. Still need to cure and stretch it, but really happy with my first attempt at this complicated stitch. Next challenge I think will be Irish crochet.

First time I've ever hurt myself while away on vacation. Going to a #hospital and getting stitches and cast on my arm in #Munich was a quick, efficient 3 hour experience. Great, helpful doctors and the follow-up antibiotics with no insurance were cheaper than in Canada with insurance. #Perspective
