Spent my weekend lifting heavy stuff and putting it back down. I went 7 of 9 and increased my deadlift meet PR by 5kg. Not bad for my first meet this year and first at 50. I got 1st in Masters 2 - 110kg. My training partner, Phil, got 2nd in open 110kg and first as a special Olympian

Spent my weekend lifting heavy stuff and putting it back down. I went 7 of 9 and increased my deadlift meet PR by 5kg. Not bad for my first meet this year and first at 50. I got 1st in Masters 2 - 110kg. My training partner, Phil, got 2nd in open 110kg and first as a special Olympian

2 weeks until my first competition this year and my first at 50. Just finished my bench for the week and I am now doing my max (235) bench for reps. Not an earth shattering or records breaking number but it shows growth.
If I can hit depth on squat first go, this should be a good event.

I sit here and think that I am not strong enough for what is coming. Soon all of the black Friday sales will start and I know I will cave. My backlog will grow. I will have to stare at it and know I have failed them.

Someone sent me their fix for a security problem. It had suggestions that went against policy and some of the information didn't sound correct. I copied a paragraph into Google and sure enough it was copied from SANS. From a post over a decade ago.

"Instead of limiting access to just the 5 sites requested, can we open the access to everything?" Sure, let's add an ANY ANY rule just in case as well.
