The Biden administration could have helped itself immensely by forgiving student loans immediately instead of waiting for the Supreme Court to strike it down.

That thing’s a crime against art

Personally, I think one of the things Dems need to run on is “War crimes are crimes.” Which requires at least an attempt to punish people for committing them or new laws that punish the next war criminal.

Isn’t that just giving up in advance? We should push for it to happen even if the odds aren’t great that it will.

I think that had more to do with more people learning about it and Democrats making moves against Biden than the Nuzzi article. And his numbers would have gotten worse regardless as everyone saw that he really was as bad as he seemed

Also, clean energy is cheaper! Lower electricity bills seems like something that will be popular!

Should be noted that PUBG is owned by Krafton, which is the worst absolute worst video game company when it comes to AI.

That's capitalism for ya

That would make it extra ironic that HBO recommends Bill Maher every time you finish an episode of Last Week Tonight.

Lizza’s writing is so bad. At least in that way, he and Nuzzi were perfect for each other

FINALLY
November 18, 2025 at 2:01 AM
Hope so, but I worry 2028 primary voters will forgive something from years earlier and reward him for his performative social media taunts.

There’s a difference between the word abundance and the billionaire-backed policy project.
November 17, 2025 at 3:42 AM
There's the book and the groups pushing it in the real world. Look who's funding the Abundance movement and who's featured at their events. You won't find anyone who's anything close to a DSA member.

The people pushing abundance very much care that they do it. The Abundance movement pushed by Klein and co. is all about relying on private companies for core services. A government-run grocery store directly opposes that mission.
November 17, 2025 at 2:27 AM
Abundance is a billionaire-backed initiative. Even if Klein says he supports some progressive policy, the people in power are pushing abundance as a way to get rid of regulation and give corporate Democrats a positive-sounding position that’s just neoliberalism in sheep’s clothing.

This is worse than when you said crypto was the future of finance

Anyone have a link to the article without needing an NYT subscription? Want to learn if the article is as bad as the headline
