Somehow ended up watching Red One, Playdate, and Candy Cane Lane yesterday with family. Yes, all three. Hit the jackpot of "universally panned movies that do one thing really well and are actually quite enjoyable if you look at them as a send-up of genre films."

Possibly hypochondriac freakout about my long-standing (fat) digestion issues not being helped by finding out that an mRNA vaccine increased survivability and remission of pancreatic cancer by like 300-400%, but also it's stuck in trials that are threatened by Trump/RFK Jr's hysteria.

So, the thing is, I see a lot of parallels between today's tech bro oligarchs and America's founding fathers. And the problem isn't one of whether it's true or not, it's that I think they see it and believe it to be true, too.
