Jesus actually hates horses.
Superbly written book that scratches the itch for both HP Lovecraft and AC Doyle. Its a fun read between more emotionally draining books. Full of nostalgia, mystery and overall just so much fun!

One of the best first books in a series i have read in a long time. It takes its time to set up the (very) creative world. But once it picks up the pace it does not stop. Its mainly character driven but never the less has a good plot.

If book 1 of your series is a massive info-dump focusing on exposition with a (imo) solely reactive character, then this is how you follow up. Moves the plot forward, is super engaging, full of intrigue and action and has a great villain!

Starting off with Dungeon Crawler Carl books 1 to 6. Not only did this series get me out of a reading slump, it consumed me utterly for an entire month! Seriously addictive LitRPG books with great writing!

This is very obviously not a book but the first third of a book. Lots of setup, exposition and some political intrigue. On its own this book is just OK. I hope that the setup will pay off in the later installments.

This book, like its predecessor, is probably way too long by any means.
However, like its predecessor, it is an absolute page-burner. This is my first progression fantasy, and boy did it make me crave more!
Cant wait for book 3!
