I actually watched a Josh Strife video on it last night and he said up until the 3rd act like 40% of your time in-game is you yabbering to characters rather than actually getting to do stuff. That's sub-Kojima levels of playtime.

The people saying a part of you dies if you revenge murder mist3 have been on a lot of revenge lists because I imagine murdering someone you hate feels like taking a piss after being unable to for ages.

Yeah it's such a combo, when I first heard it I was thinking it's Irish but not like any accent I've ever heard over there. Plus the word pronunciation was wacky and that's the point I did some digging. Never knew that was how they talked there.

My favourite bit about it is they play it EXACTLY like it would play in the game so you get to hear the same few songs in short sections over and over and over. It's hilarious.

Did you not just see what happened in San Francisco, gang? Their systems don't have redundancy and the company themselves are too tight to buy their own power backup too so when the HQ lost power all the cars died in the middle of the roads.

I understand why people don't like 3, what I'm saying is these are the kinds of people who need to be babied and they weren't so that's why. It's the same movie disease as Marvel fans et al, the expectations that mean there's no curveballs in mainstream cinema.

The idea that sequels have to follow on exactly from each other is why we have so many deathly dull films. Honestly where could you go from Aliens? That punch in the chest was needed and ultimately why the film ends the way it does in the forge... Ripley is space cursed, the nightmare needed to end.

That's why it's GOOD though! It's a huge fuck you to the idea that there's such a thing as a happy ending when dealing with a xenomorph threat.
That movie audiences had expectations is kinda the start of the slippery slope of why there's so much trash these days imo.

Hereditary hid a lot in the dark. Seeing it at the cinema I couldn't really make them out but at home with some more contrast they popped out more and no thank you.
Some films just have dark to make your mind add in a monster, no they were actually there in this 😢
