They are hunting dogs. They push through large stands of Himalayan blackberries. Even without the thorny brambles, we have had issues with dirt and seeds getting in their eyes.

They aren't cheap. I am deciding that the structures that hold them on can only take so much. Sam is wearing new frames and his lenses didn't get knocked out. And he went in deep cover the most.
