Fun fact: I read my first Terry Pratchett book earlier this year. I quite enjoyed it! It'll be a while before I get to this one, though.

It's Florida, so that makes sense for Florida, but if they attempted to make this a nationwide day it should 100% be appropriated to celebrating the LGBT+ community, the african american community, any marginalized groups. It'll be a cold day in hell before I celebrate nazis.

I heard somewhere that if you search for anything and use curse words as part of it, that AI won't show up. However, just tried it, and not only did that not work and AI still showed up, but it completely went off the rails and lied to me saying there was a connection when there wasn't.

Solid choice.

If a game starts giving me a hassle and the motion sickness ramps up, I will set it to 45 as that's still playable to me, but 60 is what I normally run. Like I said, I know I'm talking out of my ass here. But it has helped me at times.

Good to hear. Also, and please understand I'm just talking out my ass, but have you also tried dropping framerates? For a time I was having a bad reaction playing certain games and I found it ended up being tied to framerates being too high. Brought them down to a hard cap and I felt better.

Oh for sure. The Garland version is top tier. Always gives me goosebumps.

Ahhh also due to my time selling women's shoes, I'm excellent at making sure shoes fit correctly and styles. Oh, also popcorn making, which I became really good at and did a lot when I worked for a movie theatre. Dang. Now that I think about it, I have a ton of skills I'll never use again. 😔

I was baller at sound design and lighting theatrical productions. Even did it off-Broadway in NYC. Maybe someday I'll get back into it if my son ever does theatre, but most likely not.

I've also learned to see the signs. All those leading up to the election who were suddenly "very concerned" about her and did nothing but spout negativity and amplify anti-Harris talking points. People who ostensibly claim to be stalwart liberals. They're compromised, too, no matter how they voted.

Ooooo. I think my wife really loves some Starz stuff. So this might be good. Is it through any other service or just direct through them?

I don't think I've ever subbed to pocketcasts. The benefits from subscribing never were relevant to me. I know I've been using it before they ever had a sub, so maybe I'm grandfathered in to some extent. Don't know, but you can probably easily use it without one.

Technically insects like ants are indeed in a different classification than spiders, but both are considered arthropods. And all arthropods, including insects, are considered animals. Heck, humans are technically considered animals, too. We're all under animalia. 😅

Turns out it was earlier today and not Saturday, so we had some extra time. 😅

I mean, we've got lots of evidence that many animals do, but this is one of the first instances of seeing the behavior in insects, which is pretty cool.
