During the attack on the Capitol on #January6, 140 police officers were injured & 5 were killed. 
Officer Brian Sicknick died of a stroke from injuries he sustained. 4 police officers died by suicide in the following days & months.

Trump called it a “day of love”.

All of the posturing on social media for clout is such a slap in the face of the work being done on the ground. It's a slap in the face to all of the years spent trying to explain that banned books are not some cutesy thing. That they are about erasure and removal of *people*.
