Cruise control is a fine idea for long journeys and open road but when you're trying to pass someone who's only doing 1mph less than you it becomes inconvenient, embarrassing and annoying to those around you.

Today is the 40th anniversary of the death of Orson Welles. Touch of evil is one of my most treasured cinema experiences. He should have had the chance to create more films without having to struggle as he did.

Amazon prime next day delivery is all very well but when you live in a rural area and you know your delivery won't be until late afternoon or early evening you waste the whole day during which you could have actually completed the task if you'd bought your purchases from a local shop.

Hi @petebuttigieg.bsky.social, from the UK. America is seeing the creation of a Fourth Reich with mechanisms of control being dismantled to allow the authoritarian regime to crush resistance. I fear for the country I have enjoyed visiting but may never return to. This will take a generation to fix.

The security announcement slogan in the UK of "See it, Say it, Sorted" must be the shittest ever slogan for a major long standing campaign. Just terrible. Everyone involved should be demoted.
