There's a bit of stuff relating to this doing the rounds on news sites and things and I don't know if me taking the effort to dig into the deliberate use of transphobic language against guidelines and previous language usage is the reason. Hope it is.

Think I need to start doing vocal warmups in the mornings. I generally speak very rarely so when I get the first work conversation of the day my voice tends to pack up.

My anxiety about being away from home is such that I had to check the cooker was off four times before leaving and bring all my Nintendo Switch and 3DS games with me, them being the most value-dense things I own.

A significant worry when I have to stay elsewhere overnight is that a burglar might break in and see how messy the house is.

Hi @robindlaws.bsky.social - just read a book summary in the latest Friends of Arthur Machen newsletter about Erik Satie. I knew I recognised the name and he's in the 'people' bit of the Paris Yellow King book. Thought might be of interest.
PS5 heavily discounted on Amazon but looking around, I think the only game on it I'm interested in is Astro Bot which means it's basically four hundred quid for one game.
