When I was reading up on policies prohibiting free municipal wireless a few months ago, it was pretty hard to fathom how policymakers could be so deliberately cruel.

In contrast, teams like @phillywireless.bsky.social @nycmesh.bsky.social @dcmesh.bsky.social & more are doing extraordinary work!

note this program (which helped poor rural schoolkids access the internet via mobile Wi-Fi hotspots) didn't cost taxpayers anything extra. Nobody in the U.S. public was clamoring for it to be destroyed.

This is just wanton destruction by assholes.
