Though in Germany there is much attention on the 'Brandmauer' against the AfD, little attention is on this development in the EP.

But it will not be without consequences: The more the EPP works with the far-right in the EP, the harder it will be for CDU/CSU & SPD to maintain a united EU policy.

In a more serious note, as the UK model will likely also be applied to Canada and probably South Korea, such a flexible contribution based on actual participation sounds like the kind of flexibility the EU should embrace.

I think it is also not clocked in that not all AI created images look shiny. Quite easy with the right prompts to make less shiny images, which sometimes look more convincing, like this one of the trech bros, a meeting that never happened:

Also advertising. This took me less than a minute, and there are AI agents now where you can create influencer personas and spew out these kind of images with products in all kinds of environments etc.
