I read great books, make mid beats, and share my worst jokes.
I was worried for the ending once the ball started rolling, but I have been absolutely blown away. This is the clearest 10/10 I've read in a while.
Fantastic prose, interesting characters (& development), and perfect pacing. Dont skip

Not gonna lie, this one fucked my brain up a bit.
Normally I hate AI in any story, but this was so interesting and I loved all of the imagery and the hints of the world throughout.
Very cerebral. Not the mecha action sci-fi boom boom I anticipated, but better for it

51 minutes in, no idea what I think yet
Okay now 53 minutes in and this is beautiful. Was put off early on and thought this was just extreme misogynist James Bond but it starts making sense by the end of act 2.
Big fan of the way this story is told

Everything is presented as if you are already familiar with the world, but I have seen very few satisfactory explanations for anything that is going on.

I'm only a third through it, but I'm really surprised at how closely adapted this is.
The only big difference is that the show lacks a lot of samurai laughing while hacking up bodies, which isn't necessarily a problem

I had a 50% save ready to go, but my brain told me that this is the optimal way to be introduced to metal gear
