Could be shallower. I think the big isthmus where Adler acts as it own breakwater, too.

Still chasing that high from 2019 when the air temperature, not windchill, was -22°. That morning was *wild* at the lakefront. Felt like we were on an iceberg in the arctic

Looks like Milwaukee has some breakwaters, too. Were you inside, or out of them when you filmed this?

the purple lines are break walls that trap ice and slow water flow. but you can see on the view from skydeck that ice is flowing out with the NE winds.

Ice is weird like that. I think we have more in some of the downtown lakefront areas because of breakwater walls that stem some of the flow and/or keep it from blowing away as fast.

I added that as a sound effect. The drone doesn't capture sound because all you'd hear is the loud whir of the rotors.
