Found this 1942 WWII-era program of Northwestern hosting Iowa's Naval Cadets, who won 20-12, a harbinger for each side. The "Seahawks" (cadets) finished 7-3 & Northwestern went 1-9, despite NFL HOFer Otto Graham starring for Northwestern in those days. #CardSky

My absolute weakness when composing sentences remains alliteration & assonance. I have noticed that my brain pronounces "alliteration & assonance" as if it includes both _a_lliter_a_tion & _a_sson_a_nce of its own.
