As a rule I try to see the Allah-las once a year. covid threw a loop for that in recent years, but got to see them play the Lodge Room's block party anniversary show in Highland Park.

Not even 12 hours ago LAPD riot cops and mounted cops went up and down sunset boulevard tear gassing, chasing and hitting dodger fans. Now it's quiet, people are going about their lives. Cops left a bit of a mess.

Echo Park. 9am Sunday. Quiet, no cops in sight but lots of firework debris. People are out cleaning up graffiti, selling flowers. Porters are cleaning dodger bars that cops attacked people outside of. Echo Park again takes care of itself.

The LAPD clearly had guys standing by with a ton of riot gear, horses and cars ready to swarm into Echo Park after the game. A very large presence. Unclear how people trapped inside the lines can get out.

Back outside the Douglas, at Sunsrt and Douglas a block east of the cops people are setting off fireworks and partying.

Lost signal. That post is from 15 minutes ago. Shortly after around 2 dozen LAPD on horseback rode up, plus several trucks with riot cops carrying the green less than lethal weapons. And people are still pouring into that part of Sunset.

LAPD in riot gear have Sunset blocked between Laveta and Logan. The heart of Echo Park. Fireworks are going up along sunset.
