the whole process vs portfolio thing in design is essentially a rehash of unix vs multics / worse is better vs the right thing. zero judgement but many (not all) product designers are trained to operate in a very wib/new jersey style.

yeah although i gotta say my electric usage back before absolutely everything was an led was pretty hilarious, i was turning on every room’s light like i was exploring an abandoned house in a 90s computer game

only the philips hue ones that let you dial in the color temp do anything for me

yeah this is basically the difference between going to a magnet school for language and kids that do language in high school, you pick some up for sure in hs but not nearly as much if you’re even just listening to your teacher in a foreign language for half a day year round

there’s probably a version of this where you sprinkle the meat overnight in the birria chili/onion stuff and then throw it in a slow cooker all day and it’s probably a pretty ok approximation but not like, in minutes
