if Pluribus happened

i honestly think I'd just spend my time learning to play an instrument

Maybe learn a language or something

Definitely would ask the whole hive mind alot of questions

Nobody unaffected seems overly curious

Combined knowledge of humanity... I'd ask so many things

Talk about a movie that slipped under my radar

The Amateur is a solid thriller / revenge film

My only gripe is Jon Bernthal felt wasted in this, you could have taken him outta the movie completely an it wouldn't have affected the movie at all

Recommendations for good books on SQL?

I've been working in databases & SQL for over 10 yrs now but i always feel like there's more i could be doing in SSMS.

The language mind you... not AWS, that's a sea of complexity I've tried to learn before an failed at

Struggled with my weight all my life, an will continue to struggle with it

People with good genetics and/or taught healthy habits early, they'll never understand how it is for the rest of us

Burn more than you consume & be a ruthless accountant about it, every day, for the rest of your life

Might as well post here. Times are hard so I'm letting go of a few of my more precious collectibles. I'm selling my Mass Effect Garrus statue, my PlayStation Journey statue, and my beloved Destiny Launch 3A Mara Sov statue. Any help spreading the word is greatly appreciated.❤️

Honestly I am ok with this

Now if they wanted to do an animated feature, I would watch that
The live-action ‘TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: THE LAST RONIN’ movie is no longer happening.

Ilya Naishuller (‘Nobody’) was in talks to direct the film

50 million is getting off lightly
"As part of the settlement, Greystar will no longer use software that relies on other landlords’ confidential data to set rents. Greystar also agreed separately last month to pay $50 million to settle a class-action lawsuit over its use of RealPage."

Why aren't there a ton of great Christmas games? We made Cthulhu Saves Christmas to fill in the gap, but I'm a little surprised that there's still barely any great Christmas games. There's countless Christmas movies!

Have come to the realization that most mass produced foods have very little fiber in them because fiber makes a person feel full, an people that are satiated are people that aren't buying more of that food

This

I'd rather look the fool by asking a "dumb question", then BE a fool and sit in ignorance

This ESPECIALLY applies to IT.

The people in my field who don't ask questions I am incredibly weary of
The actual secret to why I know stuff is that I ask a question any time I don’t understand literally anything. I don’t care how simple it is. Anybody who makes fun of you for asking a simple question likely doesn’t know the answer either

Old Stephen King TV miniseries need re-releases on blu ray or UHD discs

Most of them came out on just VHS or DVD , and could certainly use a remaster on the original prints

Ex: Tommyknockers , Rose Red, Storm of the Century, Golden Years, etc

I try to follow these rules when it comes to social media but I "forget" sometimes

Reminder to all before posting something

2) Does this need to be said by me?
3) Does this need to be said by me now?”

Fixed a grilled cheese and tomato soup

Usually i like to hand grate the cheese but work smarter not harder as they say.

Discovered a shredded mixv that had sharp and gruyere

As an aside, always go with Hearty White bread, it keeps the cheese in well and absorbs the butter just right

Reminder that TurboTax are the turd blossoms who tried to swindle money out of people during tax time saying their tax prep services were "free" and then charging 30 bucks at the end

IRS kicked their ass to the curb for a REASON
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.
