Everywhere Vanishing Bean Curvature
@nrr.corvidae.org
Mennonite-raised. I get told "no" a lot. I'm finishing a math degree I started 20 years ago. I pretend to be a maned wolf-shaped tree on the Internet. You've used stuff I've worked on.

Trans rights are human rights.

I'm @nrr1.618033989 on Signal.
I'm afraid it's a terminal case. He's at least stopped falling off of stuff!

Only for you, Krymbean.

Splish splash! That video from the Oakland Zoo of Harley taking a bath will forever live rent-free in my mind.

I've been getting back into differential geometry, so a pun like that is par for the course.

Calculus review, yeah. I apparently don't have ODEs credit, so they're making me fix that.

Or, at a minimum, make dry erase crayons way, way more commonplace.

Oh, they're generally very useful if you're used to having a saucer-sized sheet of cracker to play with!

The kids in the queer space, seemingly none of whom were Jewish, were scratching their heads at why anyone would want 6-inch square unsalted saltines.

I must confess that the idea of making cracker bark with it hadn't crossed my mind.

Zero idea! We're about six months out, give or take, so it's certainly a curiosity.

perhaps it's cheaper for them not to set up and run the batch job to kick you off? if there isn't rampant abuse, it's usually just easier to go at it through attrition.

vodafone tend not to keep the old billing rules on newly activated SIMs. i don't know if this is true for other carriers.

I've been doing this since 2012, and I can confirm that, barring weird manufacturing defects that force an early replacement, I tend to keep the same device for the better part of 10 years.

The only spec that played a role in my decisions recently was the move to USB-C.

the consensus, despite MO media having been mostly used optically (i.e., reads were much more common in practice, and that was done with only a laser), is that it is a disk.

at least, all of the 130mm and 90mm media in my house spells it that way.

maybe. i think i'll just practice my bass more and perhaps do more math later.
November 23, 2025 at 10:44 PM
that makes two of us.

It's kind of why I've fallen off the face of Telegram (and, I guess, furry more broadly?). Once I started learning who Durov was, uh, yeah.
