As far as I am concerned religion will never disappear
Religion will always to some extent continue to exist, and occasionally old ones will disappear and new ones will appear with their markings of the time they were written in.
They will cause conflict on a broader scale and harmony on a smaller scale.
That is how the world works.

All religions also carry with them a "practical philosophy" and how to treat life and think about it, obviously because you argue against this you don't see a need for this practical guide, but just like not everyone wants to build their own house not everyone wants to build their own philosophy

Thing is that religions are all moreso explanations of cultural standards and personal beliefs of whom created the book at the time
Obviously topics like same sex-marriages, trans people and other surch things were heavily influenced by the writers and should not really be taken into account
