Recruitment doesn't just cost money, it costs valuable time and energy too. Investing in staff wellbeing can reduce time and money spent worrying about and actioning recruitment and can improve staff effectiveness and productivity too.

Done right - Money spent on staff wellbeing is very well spent

Do your staff feel safe to tell you when they don't agree with you? The last time you experienced challenge or push back on an idea, how did you react? This is me holding a out a hand of support. It's hard but we must allow challenge in the work place - it benefits everyone.

Most leaders guess what is wrong for one (or more) of the following reasons,
1 - their budgets are too low to outsource
2 - they don't know there is another way
3 - thinking they can do it themselves
4 - being scared of what they will say if they ask them
I can help you with all these!

Staff conflicts drain so much of your time and energy as a leader. Putting the work in early and preventing it from getting out of hand can help future you as well as them.

30 mins walk, 199 houses lit for Christmas! That's a lot of joy being spread.
This house's decoration made me smile a lot.

First time swimming in the rain today! Well we were getting wet anyway. A balmy 13° outside but only 6° in the water! Dodgy photo because of the rain.

The story of my decorations. Part 1 - the trees.
We have a real tree in the lounge, minimal decorations, in purple and gold to match the decor. We have a artificial one in the dining room (which we've had since 1999) which is more fun themed.

Big milestone today! As the water was 8° it was my first sub 10° swim (that's a big deal in the wild swimming world)!

Yes it was cold, yes it hurt, yes I felt great afterwards!

Today's swim photo is bought to you from the bank as it was far too windy and cold to mess around getting my phone out in the water!
It was very choppy out there but that made for lots of giggles as we got splashed.
