The difference in media coverage on political scandals on the Left and Right is actually staggering. Angela Rayner Stamp Duty scandal V Nigel Farages? His was barely mentioned, never scrutinised, she was hounded until she resigned.

Titanique on Strictly was very disappointing?! I saw them in the West End and the show was incredible. Maybe big audience nerves? 🤔 #titanique #strictly

Why was this only reported by the London Economic!
Farage, Johnson and Truss - The Carlton continues its long tradition serving as the Mos Eisely Cantina of fashy grifters. A club where the membership badge should come with a long walk off a short pier.

Anyone noticed how UK media is a lot less obsessed with Farage’s alleged antisemitism than Corbyn’s alleged antisemitism?

Odd that.

Imagine the reaction to allegations that Corbyn had made hissing gas noises to Jewish kids as a schoolboy - and then if he had responded to those allegations by shouting 'Bernard Manning!' at the journalists
The radio silence about Farage from people who are usually supremely vocal about antisemitism is so so telling.

We are nearly 4 years away from a General Election. Why are the media obsessed with a Reform win? This is @skynewsrss.bsky.social tonight. Back down on earth Reform currently have FIVE MP’s. FIVE! #PoliticsLive #UKPolitics

Funny how @zackpolanski.bsky.social suggesting a raft of policies to try and improve the lives of the vast majority is ‘fantasy economics’, but when Brexiteers were allowed to indulge their lunatic fantasies about leaving the EU it somehow became ‘The Will of the People’. 🦄🤔

Nigel Farage has spent £1m taking out adverts in the papers to distract from the Nathan Gill Russian bribe scandal.

We can't let him buy himself out of this. We need an investigation into Russian influence in our politics.

As for Farage’s use of racist slurs being confined to his childhood - well, that's not what Alan Sked, the founder of UKIP, claimed in this 2014 interview.

He says here that Farage was using the "n" word as late as 1997.

Farage would have been about 33 at time.

I remain genuinely gobsmacked that this wasn’t picked up more. The Alex Jones who *repeatedly accused grieving parents of making up their children’s murders*.
Anyway, “after the news we’ll be joined by Nigel Farage & definitely won’t be asking him about any of this…”
On US TV shows and podcasts from 2009-18, Farage discussed supposed plots by bankers to create a global government, citing Goldman Sachs, the Bilderberg group and George Soros as threats to democracy. Included six guest slots with the disgraced far-right US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

Should absolutely be front page everywhere, bravo to the brilliant @carolecadwalla.bsky.social and the team of journalistic juggernauts at @thenerve.news for this piece
NEW There's no overstating how significant the Nathan Gill case is. On Friday, the close associate of Nigel Farage was jailed for over 10 years for taking bribes ultimately from a friend of Putin. It's a complex, detail-heavy story that raises questions about Farage’s claim Gill was ‘one bad apple’🧵
