He was meant to be running the Museum of Brexit, last I heard. But the last I heard of *that* was via Private Eye, which is rarely a good sign...

If he'd quit of his own accord I'd still have room to forgive him, but he only left because Farage can't stay close to *anyone* for long, it seems. And Gawain stuck with him longer than most... He should know where the bodies are buried - if he doesn't, he wasn't doing his job.

He was never stupid. I'm sure he knew what they were doing throughout: from his deliberate misinterpretations of EU rules to get headlines in the tabloids to Farage's anti-immigration crap (he purported to oppose) to sucking up to Putin. They all just thought they could keep on getting away with it.

I'm afraid Gawain is, for me, firmly in the bracket of if not being an actual fascist himself then certainly knowing exactly what he was doing all those years, so while it'd be lovely to see you, I have no desire to see him.
