Did you throw the batteries? You should encase them in epoxy. Hudson Soft branded batteries, gotta have some of those :)

Very cool. Didn't know that existed.

Happy hacking :)

The GB flash cart could also be used with Pro Fighters without the GB slot, you'd use this adapter cart.

SW2.3 is quite low version/chassis number, you might need to add a button to enter the service menu on this set. Or maybe the Beovision1 is newer and any chassis number is OK. On MX series you need 3.1 or higher. Lots of info here:

Which model is it? On my MX4000 there was no way to access the service menu, so I soldered an extra button to it (scary!) to enter the service menu. Some models can enter it via the remote. You can adjust geometry.

Managed to read parts of it and it seems the Pro Fighter models were counterfeited (maybe with better parts than the original ones?).

Piqued by your post, tried to look for that brand and landed on the page below. A lot of information, too much to process now, need to work. But thought you might want to have a look. It has a warning about Sony drives. Translate from Traditional Chinese/Cantonese m.mobile01.com/topicdetail....

This looks like a Pro Fighter X Turbo (from CCL). Especially since it has the GB Smart Card.

Maybe because it feels like you are at the gym when you pick one up :)

Momotarou Densetsu. The game that started the super successful (in Japan) franchise. #hudsonsoft used the Momotarou (peach boy) legend and made a game out of it. This #jrpg was released in 1987 and got many sequels on many systems as well as a lot of spin-off titles.

Binary Land. A puzzle game by #hudsonsoft for #famicom where you need to move 2 penguins to the goal. But... you control 1 penguin, the other moves in mirror direction. The first levels are easy, the maze is symmetric, but later there will be obstacles. Fun game!

Ninja Hattori-kun. A side scrolling action game based on a famous manga of Fujiko Fujio (creator of Doraemon!). It was released in 1986 and was actually one of the best-selling games on the #famicom, selling about 1.5 million copies.

Challenger. Never heard of this game before I looked up #hudsonsoft #famicom games. According to Wikipedia it is an action-platformer released in 1985.

Smaller would be better as long as it is safe. But for me… set once and no need to look at it anymore and in this case there was enough space.

I might just as well burn a CDR and print a nice cover. So for me it would only be worth it if it was like 10eur. A placeholder until I get the OG… which would probably be never. In case anyone is interested, click on store to see other games.
