Oh man I tried playing that game but the anxiety of carrying cargo and a baby and having to hold your breath just got to me so much I had to give up 🤣🤣 but I absolutely see what you mean

I liked the ending from an artistic standpoint since I’m a photographer I thought it was a really genius idea to show the utter and sudden silence with the absence of fragile human life. You are supposed to feel something - that is the point and I think that it succeeded.
