Oh, and if a AAA studio announces how amazing their games are since they laid off half their workforce to replace them with gen"ai", stop buying their fucking games

Thanks, that's appreciated. Same if you want any feedback from me. I may need testers soon as just added that hint system and now implementing LAN multiplay, so probably about to break loads! Haven't tuned the rules matrix yet so extra eyes and feedback would be great.

In my (under development) anagram game, my hint system reveals the next letter making a longest word from the already chosen letters and and if you've selected a wrong word or not the longest word it'll show you that to remove. I thought a full word reveal would be too much too.

Just trying to get to the local bike (m\c) shop though was a nightmare and took twice as long as usual, even carving through traffic. Thanks though to all the car drivers who edged over a bit to let me filter through 👍. Ordered a mesh/leather jacket for those really hot days.

Same here, and any great lists of radio buttons to be unchecked instead of a reject-all button loses my patronage.

Odd, every browser (desktop & mobile) I try shows a black image. I'll try a different capture of the same screen. Hope this works instead 🤞

Is anyone having trouble seeing the image? It looks completely black now I look at it on bsky...

Love the line graphic style, no idea what it is though 🤔

Sounds familiar, just different industry 😒 I've worked in healthcare, scientific and Legal software and it's all the same. Good luck on the job hunt and good luck with the real work!

Computer rooms? We had a Teletype connected via acoustic coupler to a distant uni mainframe. Recently visited the National museum of computing a Bletchley park. Awesome day out!

I use git for code and some smaller assets that don't change often or are final, and .gitignore the rest, then have multiple backups of the big stuff on nas and cloud. Over the years have got in the habit of multi commits a day and find it more reassuring than any hassle.

Haven't trusted ms for decades!

Are all the tracks going to look like dead animals? I hope so! 😀

It doesn't fill a poor struggling indie with much hope does it. 😦

Just done that this week in my game. I thought it was standard practice?
