A good time was had by all this weekend at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden, and Nobody Nursery was there selling my hard-to-find WA-native plants. Now I'm back to my usual hours here in Des Moines of Sun-Mon, 10am-4pm.
See me this Saturday at Salish Trees, just outside of Kingston!

I’m delighted to now carry seed from a new company by Gabriel Campbell, Native Seeds PNW. Folks in Oregon may be familiar with his seed banking and botanical work, and since moving back up to western WA he has contributed nearly ten thousand photos to “The Burke”.

Cool and damp, that's prime planting weather. After a day south of the border in Oregon, I'm back here in the Des Moines WA nursery. Just a reminder that Nobody Nursery is now in winter hours, on account of the 23.5° tilt of the planet Earth.

When Oregonians place pre-paids, though, the online store assumes you’re picking up in WA so it charges sales tax. So here's a simple workaround:

Both species have overlapping variety in leaf and flower structures, so distinguishing between them is a nuisance and often requires magnification.
