I've been slow and maybe somewhat secretive on updates for my Monsterverse anthology pilot so here's one now. I finally decided what to call it and here's notes if you want to know more.....if the algorithim doesn't try to hide this that is (cause I know it hates me).

For some reason, I've been debating about trying acting. I love actors but I never really saw myself as one but.....IDK......gotta find someway to try and be more productive and less stressed out.

Yes, movies can be bad but you also can say why a movie is bad without saying something like "If you like this, you know nothing about movies or art" as your central argument. There's also a difference between "enjoyable bad" films and actual bad films that are on worst movies lists.
i know this will shock a lot of you but movies can actually be bad. like, not bad as in "oh i don't this character's choices or this vibe isn't for me" but bad in "there is no logical connection between the scenes i'm being presented with"

Its honestly very infuriating that I have to defend SW fans from bulls**** like this despite suffering 10 years of abuse from them. You don't like Rogue One???? Fine but assuming they've got bad intelligence because they *checks notes* don't think the same????? You'd get decked if you said that IRL.
if your view of rogue one is that it is a "well-acted and well-written action flick" then i'm just going to assume you've never seen a movie before

Its hokey on cliches and historical accuracy at times (especially since people have questioned Yahia's claims) but HOLY S****...Dominic sold the insanity well. While it doesn't show the.....deeper insanity the Husseins were, its enough where you both root for Yahia and HATE (and fear) Uday.
The memorial spotlight of Lee Tamahori continues, this time based on a real figure. This is a film based on Saddam Hussein's son Uday and his body double's exploits and doing some quick research, it turns out he was just as insane as his dad......yeah.

Another reason why film discourse on social media is broken. Hell, I'll also argue that its kind of harder to know if a film is genuinely bad BECAUSE of s**** like this. They made it impossible to know if the hate is organic/authentic or forced/dishonest.

This could sound genuinely insane but I hate how urgency is....not really urgent anymore. Like, I've been having more breakdowns lately to the point where its sort of why I can barely get good sleep anymore....and I still get hesitant on asking for help cause I KNOW its not gonna be immediate.

Who the f**** is saying licking ice cream is gay-coded????? In fact, HOW is it "gay-coded"????? Also, I'm lucky I wasn't raised in an environment like this.....though I still wish I had better friendship/relationship luck.
So many men go through life like that. You can play poker because it's right-coded, you can't enjoy fruity alcoholic drinks because they're women-coded, you can't lick an ice cream cone because it's gay-coded. All day, every day, choosing and judging things based on coding for narrow norms.

Coming back to this. I haven't been writing TWCITA lately cause I've been genuinely suffering the past few weeks with job hunting, trying to get my bills paid and having constant mental breakdowns and sobbing fits. To be called "petty burgoueis" for actually trying to find time and energy---
I mean, I get it. I hate how its harder to have better resources to get your art made or just even getting it made in general when you're in rock bottom financially but.....pirating their work when they most need support so they can continue making art without actually suffering for it doesn't help.
