UE’s Higher Education Conference Board released a statement today calling on universities to reject the so-called “Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education” being promoted by the Trump admin, which asks universities to exchange autonomy for preferential funding.

CGSU-UE Local 300, graduate workers at Cornell University, ratified their first contract yesterday with a 97 percent yes vote! The local attributed the win to the mass participation of graduate workers in building a strike threat. (1/5)
