NO GODS OR KINGS ☆ WE ARE MACHINES
From what I understand, a major part of the backlash was the art. Some people are really obsessed with the "bean mouth" aesthetic and made boycotting that stylistic choice the hill they would die on for some reason. It's a shame when you miss out on a good story because of the vehicle it comes in.

Pretty much anything from Psykosonik and Hednoize.

Hednoize is by Daniel Lenz - one of the same founding members of Psykosonik. They're responsible for at least one memorable track on the Mortl Kombat Annihilation soundtrack, 'Panik Kontrol' - and it's about as 90's techno as you can get.

That would be one win, yes... it still leaves a lot to be desired on the trust and value proposition end of the spectrum. The recent Game Pass price hikes following reported profitability, abandoning tentpole IPs like Halo Infinite, and the mandate to develop using AI coinciding with mass layoffs.

Microsoft's blanket solution to any market problem overcthe last twenty years is to acquire a successful rival company, and reshape its product into what fits the MS vision with zero regard for what made the product successful in the first place.

Thankfully, MS can't resign Steam to the same fate.

However, despite this little 'hiccup' in Amazon's advertising algo, Hazbin Hotel S2 is SO F**KING GOOD YA'LL. @vivziepop.bsky.social should be so damn proud. Genuinely hoping for a Bluray release so I can survive a rewatch without commercials and not skimp on all the BTS/extra content. 🖤

Recently discovered Neon Oni and have been getting my ears caved in. 'Satori Sedai' goes super hard.

I think Helen and I would be good friends. How much do you think she would like Gunship?

Trick question! There were no films made between 2010 and 2020.

I mean, if you put the word "controlled" in front of it then sure I guess. 🤷‍♀️
